This is an excellent story. I love the sense of repetition in the story. Nana really wants to get her point across! The end is perfect.

How I wish I had a Grandma like that! The closest thing my Grandma ever made me was a shawl with holes in it! A slinky black dress ..... never.
I liked your story. Grandma made me think of how life might have been in the South many years ago. We should all have a Nana that cared so much! Good job!
