Violoncello

Sensuous sighs sweep thought from mind.

            Emotion.

Longing.  Aching as the sound ripples memories of lost promises.  Wild ecstatic winters, sequestered with the missing.

Images.

Sultry summer sins in orchid bloom.  Fire and frost.  Love and fear.

Deft fingers and

            Willful thighs.

Her hair spills across spruce and maple and flesh as her gentle and savage glissando cries out for understanding and kinship.  They speak in sonatas and concertos, woman and strings; woman and man.  Delirious tears spill with the melancholy melody.  Sorrow and elation.  Life and Death.

Blood and sex.

Holding fast, muscles taut, Resonance in a temple to unfettered feeling'

Echoing infinitely within a single page.

Spilled red with visceral nameless unknowing flame.

Resonance in a temple to love

Resonance in a temple to loss

The sound burns the darkness.  The sound burns the light.

Her Delphic eyes see the child in my darkness; her shadow passions spell cathartic agony for my harried heart and muddled mind.  I hear her Music and feel her Music and taste her.

                                    Music.

Lady, keep me compassionate and teach me to learn.

Lady, I will keep you warm and teach you to ache

This was a joy to read, love your play of words and sensually they ignited the mind with imagery, especially the stanza: Her hair spills across spruce and maple and flesh as her gentle and savage glissando cries out for understanding and kinship. They speak in sonatas and concertos, woman and instrument; woman and man. Delirious tears spill with the melancholy...

Beautiful!!
