If Dictionaries could feel
If Dictionary's could feel.
If a grown-up ever tells you that all those things you feel for the boy or girl you love aren't real, that you don't know what love is, then find them a dictionary; the third edition of the Australian Pocket Dictionary will do. Turn to page 621. And read;
" 'L-O-V-E... 1. A deep affection or fondness'. And it is only within such sterile linguistic bounds which you shall ever prevail upon the infinite universe of love. And you will feel love's breathe with all the fucking profoundness which the editor did as he typed out those words. And I'll describe now your shallow fucking love, in terms you're sure to understand. Your shallow cephalic love, you fucking avaricious lovers, for all things prized and green, bigger and faster, strips ours of dignity.
- Matters of the head and heart are astronomical distances apart, its only their geographical proximity which misleads you -
