Longing...

Surreal sensation accompanied by real emotion,
to have and hold,
the precipice of the past and modern,
although forgotten lately, we still aspire.

To care selflessly and willingly for another soul,
accompanied on our journey we thrive.
Seek foreign lands and relish from renewed vigour for original experience, the future.

Held so dear and closely, the colour, the scent, the hand of my lover,
between thoughts we reside, a constant,
I beseech you, forever.

heah ya, fellow songwriter, photographer...

interesting combo of words, it will take me a while to pick them out with a pair of chopsticks and inspect them closely, then appreciatively place them back with the rest of the gourmet cuisine and enjoy their combined flavour.
;-)

cheers Ms Jellybean

it was quite nice. i'm not very comfortable with the flow of the words, but it's okay because it didn't affect the message of the poem. it has a bit of an impact, and it's nice.
