"Get Behind Me"

The voice of a tempter
Whispers in my ear
"I know what you fear,
and I can make you stronger."
'Don't be a contender,
Lower your golden sword,
Bow and make me lord,
and you'll last longer'

Get behind me serpent
I will never kneel
I stand for what is real
And I will never turn away
Can't you see it?
I'm a dead man gone
In victory I ride on
And by His Blood I'm paid

Your victory is fading,
In a cloud of dust
His Love trumps your lust
And we are gaining ground
Our hearts are burning
We'll pursue the lost,
At whatever cost
Before the trumpets sound

This is no tribute,
It's a call to war
It's what we're living for
That makes us this way
It's not a triumph,
It's a chance to fight
To stand for what is right
And with our blood we pay

"In know what you fear," = "I"

I really like the message of this piece.

The line, "with our blood we pay"--is such a great line and a strong statement..**
