In the End

Scratch my name into
the wall on the day
we break and fall.
The Roman Empire too
did crumble, brick by
brick in its tumble.
There'll be no grace
or peace to parting
for there was none
in the starting.
The coin shall flip
from love to hate
and as is everything's
own tragic fate
we shall turn and
walk away on separate
paths for future days.

Very clever and universal in it's emotion.

It seems as if love was found and then lost and the realization of this is sad to her.

This is wondeful. "The coin shall flip from love to hate" encompasses so much.
