COLOUR ME BLUE (Sonnet)
Beautiful lady you colour me blue
Adrift 'pon a sea of tears do I call,
Send me thy promise, for I must pursue
This quest I'll not falter, nor shall I fall.
Beautiful lady you colour me blue
Allow thine eyes to but enter my soul,
Seek forth the beauty you know to be true
Feel naught but passion, thine heart be my goal.
Beautiful lady you colour me blue
Succumb I pleed to the fires within,
Ne'er will my lips speak, the sound of adieu
For within thine arms, would my life begin.
Beautiful lady you colour me blue
Come seek forth a rainbow, colours for two
