On a Cliff

standing on the edge of this precipice

you remove your hand from mine

the chill wind blows harder

your face shows no fear

you lose your footing

I move to catch you

and instead I slip

thus in the end

I needed you

This piece is heart-wrenching, and I love it. The physical shape of the poem (which has, of course already been mentioned) is a brilliant style choice.

Nice to read something very creative like this. The visual representation, the brave admission to having to "need" somebody else when all the time thinking you were the "savior". This could work is a variety of situations. Great job.
