courage
courage
like mushrooms
it blooms in the dark.
holds an umbrella
to a rain that noone saw.
courage
slides through mistakes
and sits talking to me.
a glass of whisky
and a beedi-stick.
courage
dons the male part.
father,
you who are so adamant,
to build a kingdom
beneath your sharpened spear,
courage
strikes down the greying
pain of your desires,
it loves me alone.
courage
it frightens me so-
