Interview with Mr. President

You rattle dry bones with your heart
Spit on babies who crap at your doorstep
I take your specs
Wipe them clean for you to see better
Men and women are not golf-balls
Why are the roads so rocky with their calluses?
Stop kicking pregnant babies with your knees
Your smile is crooked
Demonstrate substantial evidence of body snatching
You say, 'My dear, it's natural for my people to
Annihilate the rich with threats, I'm too frail to control circumstances'
You gather a gang behind closed doors
Being in exile leaves your stockings stuffed with vital organs
You say in a soft tone, 'they're donors who sacrificed in the name of peace'
A satellite-dish informs you of Haiti Actualite
Batch of executions unleash a grin
Their folkloric details make you the star
You collect ulcers to bond with ex-Presidents
Initiate services to the public in French
The Presidential suite endangers sensitivity
You play dead in a tan suit
Spectators know you will come back soon
Laryngitis is curable with drops of craftiness

You've steeped every prickly word in satire - brilliantly done i must say. I think it reflects the general consensus on most politians of the day.

"theyâ??re donors who sacrificed in the name of peace" - our soldiers? I'd never seen them this way before

Thought provoking piece - thank you

i dont know what to say; it was creatively brutal; it was truth and poetry wrapped and entwined together to form one expression. i liked it.

I think the president would squirm if he read this ;-). Great descriptions, as always.
