Hollow

The depth of human emotions
Seem so shallow now.
I look to the masses,
I see all their fake smiles.
Can no one be truly happy?
Joy seems to be just a facade.

Any decision that we make
Brings pain to someone else.
No choices seem right,
I second guess everything.

Why are we all so hollow?
We never know what we want.
The masks we wear
Never seemed so clear.
