They are like bright mornings
that starts your day.
Of life they fill with a hope.
For the future they let us hold on
so when the dark days are groping
we hang on them like leeches.
On the good days we cherish them
and when all is gone
we hold them in our hearts
the memories.
These are the dreams that drive our lives.

Your poem is okay, and a second reading helped me appreciate it more. The subject of dreams and inner strength through dreams is a risky one. I think you do a decent job, and this poem is nice and sweet, in a way. One suggestion would be to cut that last line. It's too dramatic and typical. Just a thought.
