Is it a dream I see
There in the distance is the sea
As I begin to stand
I feel the soft grains of sand

The feeling is so light and almost delicate
Upon my feet
I close my eyes to feel it in its entirety

Softly I reach down and shift my hand
Upon the sand
Slowly the grains of sand begin to fall from my hand

I open my eyes and there before me
Is the sunrise
Magnificent glow falls all around me in a warm embrace
As I continue to rise
I hear it call me

You See
My life to the sea
The thunder of its heartbeat flows through me
As it crashes among the rocky shore
All the hurt and pain
Is no more
The light so spectacular in all its splendorous glory
Heaven opens

Shh now
Oh listen please
In silence
As the sea tells me its story
No more sadness and despair for me

You see,
Is it a dream you see?
Standing here on the shore
Tell me now
What do you see?
As you listen to the waves thunder and whirl into the rocky shoreline
Tell me now
What is it you hear?
Tell me now
Do you feel the warm embrace of the sun?

No more sorrow
Shh now, no more tears
Shh now please free forever more

You see,
The sea is where I'll be
This dream I see
It is really me
I have gone
To be an angel by the sea
So now
I understand
This feeling that has washed over me
I am now
An angel of light and love
An angel of pardon and peace
An angel of thought and reflection

You see
I will always be an angel of the sea
Come be by your angel
As you walk along the shore
Forever an angel promise
To hold your hand
Ease your mind
And free your soul
I will love you forever more
Love
This angel by the sea
