Together forever is what I thought '
That never will come true,
He broke my heart and broke my
Spirit ' I'll be forever blue.

He took from me something I use
To give ' he made me feel so weak,
He showed me men are all the
Same ' my future sure looks bleak.

I tried to give love another chance '
But I guess we don't see it the same,
What he did to me left such a deep
Scar and only I am to blame.

For I left another man close to me '
I knew the dangers and still I fell,
I shared my hopes, my dreams & my
Fears ' and now I'm back in hell.

Forever will never happen now '
Not with him or any man,
I'll just live my life all on my own '
And do the best that I can.
