My Drug

Like an addict,I try to break free
but I just cant pull myself away
from the force that washes over me,
it gets stronger every day.
A servant,I return time and again
to the poison thats craved by my soul.
I break the chains and run,and then
I fins myself back in the hole.
When will I ever break this spell
my drug has over me?
Will I be forced to face this hell
through all eternity?

I've read a few of this type of poem today, must be the time of year eh.

Decent descriptive passage, seen one spelling mistake.

I fins myself back in the hole.

I assume it's:

I find myself back in the hole.

Cheers.
