This distance view of you

I feel like I want to die
It's overwhelming the need to cry
Crushing and I don't know why

Your pictures are here and there
I see them and gasp for air
All I want is to bury my tears in your hair

You don't know me at all
Every time I try I fail or stall
If only I had a number to call

I could free myself of you
The mad waltz
Round and round I fall
And you're never there
I cry inside and die
Knowing only
This distance view

We talk in silence at the bar
Our words drowned out so far
Its late I stumble, out to my car

Nothing to say I avoid the lie
I left with out your number why
I left with out even saying goodbye

In my mind I know
With me if asked you would never go
I have nothing for you worth the show

I could free myself of you
The mad waltz
Round and round I fall
And you're never there
I cry inside and die
Knowing only
This distance view

This distant view
Is all I know of you
I cry inside and die
And you're never there
Round and round I fall
This mad, mad waltz
If I could just free myself of you

The mad waltz --this was a great line. One of the best I have seen in awhile.

This piece drips with hopelessness and pain.

I felt the rhyme was forced in a few places but that did not take from the feelings of the piece.
