love and war

I look outside into a world
a world of love and war
I feel like I have reached an end
an end of nothing more
nothing more than a simple wish
a wish that I could be
with only that one person
who means the world to me
I dry my eyes and sing a song
a song of love and war
I feel i'll never find a way
a way for something more
when everyday im missing you
and wishing I was there
this pain that im enduring
is sometimes more than I can bare
I sit and write a poem
this poem is of love
a love that lives forever
a love you can't rid of
everyday I ask myself
if love will find a way
because love is what im fighting for
each and every day

That was really good, I'd rate it an 8 from a 1-10 scale. 10 being like completely amazing. "Nothing more than a simple wish" doesn't really need the word simple in it. I just think it would flow better without it, but that's just me.
