Will you know me?

If i see you again will you know me?
Years have passed and you must be lonely,
I'd love for time never to pass by,
So I'd never have to cry,
Thinking you are alone somewhere,
Is a thought i cannot bare,
Not knowing is the worst thing,
Is there something or nothing?
I really believed that night,
And I prayed for you to fight,
But you were small and frail,
And you fell under deaths vail,
And i'll never understand why,
You a little baby had to die,
I hope i'll see you once more,
You the little baby i adore,
But will it be an end to my pain?
Will it be a wait in vain?
Baby will you know me?

This is such a tragic poem.. the pain in it is conveyed beautifully. Great work.

beautifully written. Sound structure. But most of all emotionally charged and moving.

I'd say you have a talent for writing what's 'real'. I think when the time is right, all those people we loved and lost will know us at a glance not by our faces but by something we can't measure visually. Don't stop writing. :)
