Butterfly/Bumble Bee
SHE be but/ter/fly
ME be bum/ble bee,
SHE, infected by my sting
ME, mesmerized
by the color of her wings
WE fly high together
spy flowers,
drink nectar,
navigate rain drops
in summer showers;
dance 'round sun rays
hour by hour.
She be but/ter/fly
She be bum/ble bee
WE buzz
and rub antennae,
hearts bearing one another's
signature
hypnotized by
each other's nature.
She be but/ter/fly
Me be bum/ble bee
bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
