Greeting Cards

If you were not my daughter
I would envy your mom
because if chose a daughter
it surely would be you.

If you were not my sons
how empty my heart would be
when upon you I see
the sons I would want for me.

If you were not my children
pride would not be my lot.

Yes, I cherish my children. Do you have children?

It is very evident that you cherish your children (I am taking it from your poem that you have children?). This is another one that gets me emotionally.
