Siddhartha's Muse

you came lotus posed

under my

satin dreams

personalized message

fom the heavens

as they shower forth

lilacs

reproduction of the Gods

karmic revelation

deity of unknown origin

I am Mara, Eve's misrepresentation

with arms multiplied

in case you slip my grasp

once again

my love reincarnates

Sidhartha

I kiss you once again

under my bodhi tree

I could almost sense the breeze slicing softly through the palms as I read this.
You've got a wonderful sense of tranquility and peace at the core of this poem. Well done.

This is fantastic, and I was not surprised to find that most other commenters were in awe of the first stanza as I was, though you did not dissapoint the rest of the way!

Have to agree with the others, your first stanza...wow, a great intro into a fine piece. So peaceful and organic. Top stuff with beautiful imagery, Joni. You never cease to amaze me with all glory you put down.
