Third Time's a Charm

Two time I lay

Anesthetized from the waist down

Life being sucked from my core

There were good reasons, I'd say

All the while feeling like a whore

Reason and logic I used then

I still employ today

No reason being reason enough

For me to do things this time

The same way...

The day I saw her face

Her tiny little hand

The day I fell in love

With the most amazing man

These things whitewashed

The rotted picket fence of my past

And brought me back home

Where I am me at last
