For Teri

It's Rhode Island Red for dinner
With a Spanish red for drink
What do you expect for a winner?
what do you really think?

Watch out, though, if you're going over,
She's got chickens all doing a dance
They're dancing all over the clover
To wap you if they get a chance.

Her backyard is planted with flowers
The soil from her special friend
That's why the plants are like towers
while people just vanish and end.

Next door, you might find old Howard
(His ghost still wanders around)
It's not the place for a coward
Cthulu's traces, and other races, abound.

And further away but not all that far
Edgar's spirit is petting his raven
If you look closely when the door's ajar
The bird or its offspring find haven.

No wonder she's stricken with wordage
No wonder she stares at the screen
While the ghosts are writing the page
Is that why she hasn't been seen?

Hey Down Under,

WOW! There'll never be another one, will there? This flat out brings tears to my eyes. I don't know how I missed it, but it slipped by me. Great job! Sure miss yours and Teri's discussions, I always came away learning something new.

Peter, I missed this somehow, and I'm so sorry. But, seeing the date it was uploaded, I wasn't around. And someone Spanish [who's going to be thoroughly wapped when he gets home] is going to pay for not telling me. Or not reminding me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this. I was shocked when I saw it as a featured upload, and this was the cherry on the sundae for me today. This was very sweet. And very funny.

*hugs*

LOL! She will be here to wap you very soon herself. I thank you for this, Peter. 'Striken with wordage' is a very good way to put this right now. And yes she stares at the screen but now she laughs when she reads what is written of her here. I thank you for this.
