Pretend
Share life
barely able to bare,
Pretend
Compromise
Be fair
Night fall
Sunrise
ask you where you've been.
Headaches, squinty eyes
You don't remember where.
Clothes off, story time
Pretend
Sitting in the chair
naked now, telling lies
expecting me to care
Naked now, blood does rise
Faking how, playing house
look at us now
we're quite the pair;
Pretend
