A Chance Encounter

At hello, her words bounce from her mouth like rubber balls.
Her energy seemed to be never ending.
My head rattled as I concentrated on the stream of vocabulary
Pouring from between lips set on fair skin;
Under hair the color of a sunset.
A brief interaction between two strangers
On their way to seperate endings.

"At hello, her words bounce from her mouth like rubber balls."
I was attracted to this poem by that image - it's a very fresh, unusual image. I liked the piece. Short but with a clear image.

I felt something when I read this. The flow is wonderful, the words blend in with one another like butter...

Quite beautiful piece here!
