here roots
a sable soul
in razor shards
of splintered onyx
shredding deep
bleeding dark
flowing hemlock

your passionate
kiss or caress
can cast nothing
but a thin coat
over this cool
venomous marrow

it drips desire
from the maws
of demons
delusional lures
of a Lorelei *
to a jet
black spiral
in abysmal
surrender

go woman
gather your wits
seal the door
and leave
starless midnight
to the wolves.
