Beautifully Ugly (zeblonian sonnet)

Wondrous waves hurtling ashore,
Unmerciful tsunami nothing more.
Longlost sea beds foreverly dry
Apeppered sparse in lonesome cacti.
Anciently sleeping jagged mountains
Silently threatening lava fountains.
Rampantly feasting wildfire aglow
Devouring forests fast not slow.

Man and nature combining tricks
Begets rainbow laden oily slicks.
Intricate lattice to kill afresh
A spider's weaving silken mesh.
Paradoxal perfection fits snugly
In a world so beautifully ugly.
