A thousand miles

If I could walk a thousand miles in one day.
Know that you have listened to every words I had to say.
acknollege me when I speak.
Hold me close when I sleep.
Say the words I long to hear.
Have a day we can share.
Laugh at all my lame jokes.
Sit with me while I lay in the tub to soak.
Share your darkest fears.
Tell me that you care.
Call me on the phone.
Don't fear the unknown.
If I could walk a thousand miles in one day.
I could expect all the above.
instead I am happy to know that I am loved.
