If I had to see you again

I would snuggle my face into your neck and breathe in all of your scent,

I would hold your head in my hands and kiss your lips and eyes.

I would wait till you looked at me and I would focus on your eyes

I would make my heart record your every emotion

I would wish to God just a little while longer

Please, with you just the way you were.

I wish I could freeze time so I can have a few moments with my love

My friend that I won't see again my friend that I won't hear gain

The one I won't feel again.

Oh mother I know this time is going to come to us all

But I wish secretly that it didn't come to you

I wish you were still in my life

I can't focus. I can't be bothered

But I know you wouldn't like to see me so upset

Rest in peace is all I can ask from god for you

I will remember you in my prayers
