a lad strapped
in archaic armor
victorious boots command ground
holsters equiped with
guns most fatal
cold ink
Wander
go forth and slay
with a metal badge
proudly displaying its birth rite
warning of its duty
The Punslinger
guns down
Cowboy
a killer of
poetic proportion
bang out your verses of valor
into crowds of common
shoot lyrical
ammo

This piece has been formulating itself in my head since the word Punslinger. I tried to follow a new format for the writing, where as it wasn't that difficult it wasn't the most comforitable either. I am a huge fan of the Gunslinger! Maybe a revision or an extra stanza might help tie the ideas together.
bit like hulshizer said on brooklyn...three stanza semi related..put me in mind of Warhols Apple...only suggestion would offer is "bore down" a bore has more of a image that can mean several things..not so sure about Wander.Perhaps wander in or Wonder full...the latter appeal to me not as in marvelous but (amazement sated) leading on to why what happens next...
was the shape of this more important than the words?
