Stand Up Routine

Something squeaks through the window
Cigarette poised open-mouth
Stand up
Dreams in vapour the sunday afternoon
Viscous pillows eschew at last those
Toxic thoughts
Stand up
Bathroom hums a good-morning lullabye
The luke-warm light is silent
From outside
Where the hung-over street
And oblivious wildlife
Stand up

Thankyou! Finally getting my head around some basic form, want to write something like this but with a little more passion, I think. Glad you like it...
