Every Window has a latch

I know it might seem dark right now, hopeless, perhaps scary.
Just know that every night has it's day, every thorn has a beautiful flower attatched, that when there's a tear there's a laugh somewhere.
It's hard when we have lost our grounding, our worlds turn upside down by one moment in time.
Paths changed forever.
All we can do is accept what he have, what is and what will become.

Life is what we make it, not how we plan it or expect it.
How we take in events in our life.
If we can come out of our darkest days with a smile on our face then we've succeeded. If we can see the good in whatever has been bestowed upon us then we are given a gift. To never see the good in certain times can be a curse, but if we just open ourselves up to what the possiblities are, we can be much happier human beings.

I'm grateful for the things I've been through, because my strength is what I've gained.
My knowledge of certain things, people and situations. I have total confidence that everything will be alright and worth it in the end. That is why I don't allow myself to get sidetracked by the things that won't matter in 20 years. Amazing how much more you can take in once you've let out the breathe that you've been holding for ages.

The trick is to always think like this.
It's hard.

Very hard.
So easy to be a victim, of anything.
But why would anyone want to be a victim? Why subject yourself to letting situations or people walk all over you.
Much better to be a survivor.

Triumph at the end of defeat, survival after misfortune. These are the crema ala creme of what I like to read about. Thanks for the read. I find it inspiring, truly. Keep it up!

I like the message in this. It's optimistic. It reminds me that life will have its downs, but the ups more than make up for it in the end. :)
