I'm not sure what cos I wasn't listening
But you were thinking about future biscuits
So you didn't seem to mind

You said you've got pretty eyes but they're not working

You'd obviously made up your mind
Your badger-trap smile was gone
The wrong profile we won't get along
Alone in her future house

She says It's so old in here

This does have a very lyrical feel to it - I can hear the guitar strumming behind it as I read it. I think it's an impressive piece, it reads very naturally, something many of us will know isn't easy to write.
