You'll Be There

Here in this daylight
Night fades
and all grasped within
is unconquered bliss
in the end I know you will be there.
You understand me not
but you love me anyway
Laughing hours never in vain
slight tears only I could feel
We have searched
and we still sought
but in the emptiness of tomorrow
I see your smile
You will always be there
No matter how far my heart may travel
No matter how many tears my soul shall shed
I find your warm embrace
moments built on undying trust
There within those stains it remains
I know when the world sends me into exile
I'll find you fighting my demons
Within our friendship
I come one
Thanx dear friend
for always being there...

Nice job! I was curious who is the speaker talking to? It could make the poem have a little deeper meaning perhaps if there were some more to it such as who this other person is. You did a wonderful job though.

I don't think you need the last too lines, I think the end would be stronger without them, or with different ones. "I'll find you fighting my demons" beautful line, beautiful poem. Nice job.
