TIME TO DIE

She laughs when she is happy,
She cries when she is sad.
She snores when she sleeps,
All through the night.

She is always lonely,
She claims she lost her family,
I heard my doorbell one day,
I opened the door to see her in pain.

She wept all night long,
I begged her to be strong.
What happened I asked?
I was shot she cried.

I tried to help her,
She said she wants to see her.
See who I asked,
Her mother she replied.

What is the time she asked?
Seven o clock I replied.
It is not seven o clock she cried,
It is my time to die.

yea, i completely agree, it's a contrast to "Oh Chistmas". This idea suddenly sprang into my mind, i was writing this poem with the thought of someone who knew that their time to die was inevitable. That ideology was on my mind when i was writing this poem. Thanks for the comment Redemoon.

Sad and bleak, I am curious of where this thought sprang, morbid thoughts always enter my mind but this is a new direction from Oh Christmas...interesting I like it
