High Score

Everything that has a beginning will always have an end
this is one of lifes rules that we cant seem to bend
were here to make the most in our measurement of time
because there isnt a way to pause it and no way to rewind
you get only one chance and no get out of jail free
only one single chance to be all that you can be
will you make the most of your ledgacy while your here
or will you waste it away living your life in constant fear
do you want to be remembered as a person who gave it their all
or will you be forgotten like a withering flower in the fall
two paths that become one when you reach the final stop
imagine life has a high score board, can you reach the top??

Will, this was very good. It flows very nicely. Because it is a one stanza poem the cadence you set had to remain constant throughout and it did and I appreciate that. Corrections: ledgacy while your - legacy while you're

Very good rhyming sequence. The rhythm does flow like a song as Sabreen said earlier. Good message behind the prose.
