THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS

Ah America, the land of the free and the brave...
The arrogant, the greedy, the foolish. When will you wake up.
"The right to bear arms." Why?, the world asks, do you continue
to let your children be maimed and murdered.
"It's party time in the ol' US of A"
Arms dealers and gun shop owners are literally making a killing
and are celebrating another front page advertising bonanza.
At the same time your youth lay wounded or dead, their blood
seeping quietly and wastefully into the already blood soaked
soil of your so called beautiful country.
Surely your country is sick and tired of all this blood being spewed into
it's heart, innocent blood that had a life to live, had promises and dreams to fullfil,
had a future of such wonderous expectancy.
"The right to bear arms" equates to one thing and one thing alone....
"The right to kill, whenever, whoever and wherever I feel like it",
For generations this Nation's inhabitants have
willfully, systematically and cold bloodidly
murdered one another for their right to be "free and brave"
History has seen father killing son, brother killing brother,
friend killing friend, in numbers unequalled by any other
'civilised" nation.
Now will follow the pompous pseudo-indignation
of your leaders, those same leaders who are making a mint from firearm sales.
Their sorrowful forlorn faces will be expressing, concern,
saddness, grief, etc etc and then they will have the audacity to
call on God to care for these souls, these young people taken in the prime of their life..
"What a load of shit."

I am so mad and so dreadfully saddended by the news of these latest
killings in your country, all those beautiful
young people who had so much to live for. We all know what they are going to
miss out on...All of us who are in love, who have families, who have children
and grandchildren, we know, they have lost their RIGHT to gain all that we
as the living, have achieved over our lifetime, they lost,
because some fool at some time, uttered the words...
"A right to bear arms"

Lance, I totally disagree with the voice of this work. If guns were taken away, how would the innocent protect themselves against criminals? Criminals and the police will always have access to guns. Keep in mind that it is not the gun that kills, it is the sick person behind the gun. As far as the school shootings go, those shooters were sick. Blame pharmaceuticals for most of the rampages. The drug companies are drugging our nation(nations). Is anyone trying to put them out of business? They are responsible for millions of deaths. Think about what the drug companies are doing to children from the day they are born - i.e., injecting them with all those vaccines, some of which is responsible for autism. It's drugs killing our nations resources.

Guns in the hands of the wrong people is another problem. There will always be bad people out there, and like hulshizer stated, Cain didn't need a gun to kill his brother. While I am on my soapbox, I totally disagree with this ongoing war. Our nation has invaded a soverign nation under the pretence that "that nation" was making weapons of mass destruction, and then it was discovered that Iraq didn't have the capabilities to produce those weapons, but still our nation continues to bomb those people into oblivion, and has destroyed the environment on top of it.

My point - It is not the weapon responsible for the slaughter, it's the person behind the weapon, whether an individual or a government.

One more point - Guns have been outlawed in Chicago, and last I heard - it is the murder capital of the US.

Here, here!! So very well said Lance. It's a source of much perplexity to me that with all the School killings that the people of the good ol U S of A, dont march in their millions on the White House and demand gun law changes. How many more will die because any fool can buy a gun? Thanks for this write Lance.

Did Cain use a gun on Able? I must have missed that. Fools will always find a way to kill each other.

Ahh, I totally agree with you. Someone told me yesterday that the Australian president was lauding us for our "lax gun control" laws and I was about to get all pissy and defensive when I stopped and thought about it. And they admitted, he has a point.

Quite sad that anyone can get a gun (particulary in VA according to what I've read) and do whatever they wish. Very sad.
