city smells

Garbage rots in the streets
A Catastrophe of decadence
Putrid waves of humid air
Radiate from its mass
Reach up to the passer by
Fill their nostrils with foul stench.

I can picture this scenario through your words; the underbelly of the city. Favourite line is 'a catastrophe of decadence'

Your bitterness is obvious. I felt the same way about London, which is why I left. You should check out my stuff - you may find something you can relate to.
