As it was
As it was in the beginning'¦. the void
So shall it be in the end'¦destroyed.
Back to darkness the light fades
The sounds of silence echoes and cascades.
The darkness consumes the stronghold once occupied by light
Where sun once was ruler of the day and master of the fight.
And so it was in the beginning'¦the void
The same shall be in the end'¦destroyed.
Created over time, developed, cultured, and grown
Born single, connections found and made
As one entered so shall he or she leave'¦. alone
And the light will slowly fade.
As it once was before the rising of man
before the fall of darkness and birth of light;
before the first tick of times hand;
before man found victory over night.
Man was given guardianship over GOD'S creations
we give not life but life we selfishly take and
there is constant bickering amongst the nations.
We all were meant to be united not just the states but the world
as it was before the flag flew above us
and the scrolls of GOD were unfurled
and read aloud
light was commanded to reveal itself while darkness conceded and bowed
but to be fair to both GOD allows them equal time
night and day, rain and sunny days, sun and moon
as poetry and romance like clockwork they rhyme.
As it was in the beginning lest it come to be
Man finally realizes his true reality
And so it shall be when a time arises for a pause
When man rules once more with passion that can do away with
Immoral, unjust, and unethical laws
Laws unnecessary to correct
Laws that are so caring and tender they are often misused and ignored;
I foresee a time when man holds on to the future by the warmth of his heart
not the barrel of his gun or cold steel of his sword.
As it was in the beginning
when passion was a commodity not a death sentence
When the world of men was a lifetime from Hell
But he knew it was so close he could taste repentance.
As it was, as it is and
how it shall once again be.
