If you let me

So intricate are the paths
Of our desires,
That we may go astray
And never be found.
I wish to follow those paths
And be lost to all else.

Looks like everyone all ready said what I was going to say. It really does make you think. It seems like a lot of people want to follow their desires without a way to survive out in that jungle, without a map or a guide. Then they end up losing the other things they didn't know they desired, the things that matter the most.

I guess that's why you you use "intricate", "astray", and "lost".

Poems such as these always amaze me. You portray such meaning within a very small amount of words, which I consider to be an incredible talent. Thanks for a great read :)

Indeed less is more. Concise, and stunning; it is my aspiration to learn the talent that came to you so naturally.

Another stunning piece.

I agree with everyone else about the deepness of such a short poem.

I think there is a lesson here. You can say all you need to say in short form if you find the right words to express yourself.

Excellent write.**
