Nothing
Loneliness, is like a gaping hole in my soul
Where could I find refuge?
Where can you seek peace?
If the very thing you run from
Resides within you
No shelter, will you find comfort
As though no market place is safe
Eyes in the back
Of your heart
Guard your every step
As your intuitions, break you
Down
Into the matter less waste, that birthed you

Knowing one's self, writing what you feel and doing it well ... I see that in your work. Keep up the great work.

| Not "walking across a bridge" material, but I have read a few of your poems now, and I REALLY like the lack of fear in your writing... |

Great line: "If the very thing you run from
Resides within you". Not sure about the line that follows it though - doesn't seem to be complete somehow (?). I like the isolation of the word "Down", that works very well. |

"Eighteenth Century Horror: Twentieth Century Fear"
Sheridanâ??s writing is wrenching, tortured and bleakly vivid. Sheridanâ??s poems dwell upon violence, death and the devil. He frequently places searingly modern issues and events within a traditional rhyme scheme. The poems in this book contain highly emotionally charged content...
