soft reflections

Soft reflections of history's past
savoring moments unsurpassed
Tears of remorse swelled wearisome
unaware of lone times to come
Trials lurking in shadow's home
seethe me into a richly loam
Failed miserably inducing forced regret
advancing contrite silhouettes

Endured remains of weather's storm
delicate memories sigh forewarn
Quiet! Hear, advisory screams;
failure I knew outside of my dreams
Shedding glimmer's love forsaken
life's contentment had been taken

Yearning adolescence appear again
forgive me a time when life first began
Undo the mistakes that has taken life
give me a chance to resolve feeble strife

Waiting patiently time presses forward
compensation lingers as hope's reward
remorsely pleading silently to the Lord

After all is said and done, past has gone it's way
approaching near life's window, obscure dreams decay
