stranger with roses

stranger with roses on my bed
uncommon thoughts of love
face above mine, liquid eyes dance dark sunshine
hands on my hair, bronze and strong caress
lips here on my lips burn tequila
kisses touch my curves
fingers sweep across apricot-silk skin
i know you your name eyes body
your thoughts elude me, your desires escape like swift gazelles
your dreams translucent wisp and gone
tomorrow comes still here warm beside me
a thousand tomorrows still stranger with roses

i love this poem because it explains each and everyone of our human desires.
to feal a desired love just one night.
with out the pain, with out the desire for more.
but to be left with the taste of the reality of love.
one moment its there and the next its a figment of our imagination.
