| you know what i think, trace? i think this can as easily be decoded as a person drifting in a no-good relationship and finding love over the net/radio/telephone even, but most importantly through the immediacy and intimacy the internet provides at the drop of a switch. the rescuer both empowers the driftee, while, at the same time gaining power from the situation in the form of shared delight. scary, and ecstatic at the same time. i love this write! |
