This is Just to Say (to You)

Homage to William Carlos Williams

I am looking
at life
pearly
and bright

and I took
a bite of it~
I make
no apology

it was
amazing~
so sweet and
so warm

This is a very meaningful piece. It's short and sweet, just like life itself. There is never a need to apologize for taking a bite out of life. The sorrowful act is if you didnâ??t take a bite out of life. Keep biting at your hearts contempt, and never let anyone tell you any different.

Peace, Love, â??N Happiness

Thanks, I choose to bite the sweet and spit out the bitter. This poem is actually a tribute to William Carlos Williams' poem, "This is Just to Say"....if you read that work you'll see the parallel.

This was an interesting little poem. Fortunately, you never bit into the bitter, cold fruit of reality.
