~~~| Empty Near Distance |~~~
The empty near distance
fills your mind with
closer than ever
further than before
You breathe from its spaces
The empty air distant
the wind respires
within without
You are a vision
a sound a mirage
an echoing present
empty near distant
Expected,
surprising,
never...
arriving
I loved it.
Filled my mind with an ethereal image of longing for something that never comes as flowing as breath.
If one could just breathe in the whole world.
Emptiness and openness describe what I felt as I read. It felt like a meditation. The experience behind the words came through without having to really focus on or think about the words. The same way I feel when reading certain books of truth. Very nice.
Fantastic read. Pace is built-in and guides the reader. "Expected/surprising/never.../arriving" Your use of ellipses is brilliant--draws out the words and allows the reader to get your ideas while reading, yet leaves room for personal interpretation.
