I Will Walk'¦..

When you walk. I walk with you.

My hand extends to hold you.

When you cry. I cry with.

My tears mix with yours.

I feel. I care. I am here.

Share with me all your joys.

All your pains. All your troubles.

All your dreams and many thoughts.

Together we will walk.

so lovely...I wish I had read this when my husband and I married...I searched for a simple and short way to tell him I love him and had a hard time writing something myself (too emotional -made it hard to write)such a fine fine poem...*sigh*

You pack a lot of feeling in a minimalist way. The feeling reminds me of "You've Got A Friend."

This works. Simple language. Very few wasted words (if any ). The paired statements interspersed with the line length ones gives it structure.

Simply put, but very much to the point. Nice piece.
