Numbness

the emence amount of sadness,
i feel running through my veins,
capturing my body,
i cannot break these chains.

the tears in my empty eyes,
from this endless battle that i fight,
the sweat that streams upon me,
seems to haunt me day and night.

all the countless heartbreaks,
now i have lost control,
the one love that stood beside me,
is now swallowing me whole.

Now that pain has made me numb,
I can feel, no more,
But I'm not close to giving up,
On just another war.
