Putting on Makeup Never Felt so Good
I know that you have seen them before
On the television and magazines galore
Their face perfect in every pore,
Covergirl, Maybelline and Almay
Display your perfect face today,
Curl those eyelashes and plump those lips
As you walk remember to shift those hips,
Put those movie stars to shame
We all can look the same,
Nails made of plastic look better
With my tight sweater,
Skirts cut above the thigh
And heals eight inches high,
Eyeliner brown or black
Use only M.A.C,
Add some glitter
Just to shimmer,
As for your hair
Blondes are better without compare,
So pull out the dye
Remember the roots as your hair you fry,
When your head is clear
What's to fear?
No longer mindful souls
Just objects within molds,
Another piece of ass
Amongst the mass,
But 'it's so hot' as P___ H___ would say
So it's made okay
Look at what we have become with each passing day,
Our children, worry about their physical imperfections
Create slight obsessions
Don't forget children it's all about the value of your complexions,
Made somewhat mechanical
I ask you this, is it not tyrannical?
Robbed of their mind's worth
It's been starting since birth,
When will you see?
Perhaps, when one of your own is made weightless in the debris.
