A Grieving Child
Thank you mom, that you left me;
'Coz I've found out that I'm not important to you;
Thanks dad , that you take me for granted;
You are making me feel that you're vises are more important than my existence.
Thanks to both of you 'coz you're not making any sense;
You left me all alone and suffering;
Thank you that you are not now by my side;
because it makes me astrong person.
I also wanted to thank you that I'm parted to you;
Because I knew that i can do everything even if without you;
To stand on my own;
And to live eventhough I'M NOT WITH YOU.

I felt like this at times when I was young. Very honest and raw. I think it's very brave of you to post this Romar!
Thank you for sharing.

| Aw. The voice behind this is hard, cold, and yet small and raw at the same time. You really have a gift for bringing a raw, human element into your writing that can't be learned in a fancy school. You forgot a space between "a" and "strong" in the last line of the third stanza, but somehow that just makes me believe that you wrote this when a flood of emotion carried you through it. Heh, if that's not the truth, then at least it looks that way. :-) so Congratulations |
